Is Facebook changing into a dating site or a place where people can easily solicit for sex? I remember several years ago before I joined Facebook, my friends were already in it. I remember how the pressured me until I joined this site. Days have changed into months into years but so as Facebook transformed itself. At the beginning it was official people could communicate class assignments through Facebook, meet new friends and that was all. However, of late with everybody possessing a gadget where one can log in to these social networks without problems, the old and the young are freely interacting. Just the other day, I had a friend request from my 71 year old father and I was like, “ come on, dad you may like to be techno or digital, but you are my father and you cannot be my Facebook friend” I rejected the request and even blocked him from accessing my wall. Why? The things I and my friends write on Facebook can easily send him to an early grave. I don’t know whether we are a rotten generation, but in Facebook, older and younger people will ask for anything, from having a date with you to any other thing you might think about. People I never interacted with are now m friends and the sought of things we discuss in Facebook, we cannot on one on one basis. I no longer know what to discuss and what ought not to be discussed in our social networks
